How to participate

Participating in the RVCC One Book is easy. Just read the book and keep your eyes open for events on campus that are inspired by the book.  Events will begin September 2018 and continue through May 2019.  Event list coming soon.  Have ideas for an event?  Email Megan Dempsey at megan.dempsey@raritanval.edu

Where to get it.

Here's who can get a FREE copy of The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas to keep.

  • Faculty who are considering or definitely implementing The Hate U Give into their courses.  These faculty will get their copy from the library.
  • Students of professors implementing The Hate U Give in their course.  These students will get their copy from the professor.
  • Students in the Orgullo Latino or BSA clubs.  These students will get their copy from FYE.
  • Students who complete their academic plan through FYE. These students will get their copy from FYE. 
  • Students who register for the One Book Kick-Off (while supplies last, first come first served, RVCC students only).
