You may receive an invitation to a Team meeting for your remote synchronous classes. This could be linked from Canvas or may be sent to your RVCC email. If your professor tells you there will be a Teams meeting but you do not know how to access it, please speak with them before contacting technical support.
To attend virtual classes in Microsoft Teams, you will receive a virtual meeting invitation from your professor. This may be linked in Canvas or sent to your email.
If it is sent as an invitation in Outlook email (your RVCC email account), it will be saved in your calendar, where you should go to access the link before the class is scheduled to begin. Your Outlook calendar is the second icon on the bottom left of the page.
Click on the Join link and when prompted in the pop-up, click Open Microsoft Teams.
