Reference Desk

Librarians are available to help you at the Reference/Information desk. 

It is OK to interrupt the Librarian as long as they are not helping another student.  Just say "Can you help me?"  

Librarians will do their best to help you with questions you may have about locating materials within the Library, finding sources for assignments or helping you with citations.  A librarian can also try to help you find the correct person to speak with at RVCC if you have a question concerning something outside of the Library. 

Private Reference Librarian Appointments

Schedule an appointment to meet one-on-one with a librarian. We can help you with any part of your research, from getting started on a project, to finding sources, to writing a Works Cited.  Include a brief description of your assignment or research project. To schedule a private appointment with a Reference Librarian, follow the instructions on the forms below.
