Things To Know About the Library
There is no eating allowed in the Library.
There is no talking on the second floor of the Library except in the group study rooms and in the Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
Borrowing Library Materials
All students registered for classes at RVCC have borrowing privileges at the RVCC Evelyn S. Field Library. To check out a book, audio book, or a DVD, you can approach the Check Out desk with the item or items you wish to borrow. Make sure you have your RVCC student ID OR personal ID available to show when requested. After the ID is scanned, it will be returned to you. The items you wish to check out will also be scanned and returned to you.
Please see the chart below for the loan periods and any applicable fines for each type of material in the Library. Please note, magazines and newspapers cannot be checked out of the Library.
Some materials are kept on reserve behind the desk or in the Reference section of the Library. These items can be used in the Library only.
