Eco Friendly/Environmental Campus Locations and Initiatives

Eco friendly initiatives, areas and points of interest on the RVCC campus which are of importance to the environment and part of RVCC's sustainability story.

June 7, 2021 - Recently, Lauren Geary, Erin O’Reilly, Olivia Stettler, and Kayla Sullivan, all students in the environmental science program at Raritan Valley Community College worked with Raritan Headwaters to create a guide to backyard stewardship for RHA to give to local homeowners.

Special White Pine

RVCC students planted a white pine grown from seeds that traveled on the 1997 Columbia space shuttle in November of 2017.   The pine was located near the RVCC Planetarium but unfortunately did not survive.
