What if RVCC does not have the book or video I want?

And if you still can’t find what you’re looking for, you can always request that we obtain a book for you from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). We’ll get a copy sent here for you to pick up from our Check Out Desk. Search "Libraries Worldwide" instead of just RVCC (details on that are in the Searching section of this guide). After you click the title, you’ll see a "Request item through Interlibrary Loan" button in the How to get this item area.

You can also fill out this form on our website, linked under Services on the library homepage, if you already know the exact book you want: library.raritanval.edu/ILL

You can also use Interlibrary Loan to get books that we do own, but are checked out to another user. You will see similar options in the catalog. See this guide's Request the Book section for details.
