Are you registered to vote?

Do you know who the NJ gubernatorial candidates are, or what they have to say about the issues?

Want to find out your polling place?

Need to see what your rights are as a NJ voter?

Do you even know when the next election will take place?

The Evelyn S. Field Library at Raritan Valley Community College can help you with all of these questions. Our General Election 2017 Voter Information Station is here!

We have on hand:

  • Voter Registration applications for Somerset and Hunterdon Counties (in English and en Espanol) - you can fill out your application in the library and we will mail it out for you through October 17th!
  • Vote by Mail Applications for Somerset and Hunterdon Counties (in English and en Espanol)
  • NJ Voter Quick Reference Guide
  • NJ Voter Comprehensive Reference Binder (contains sample ballots, print outs of candidate statements, voter law, etc.)

Election Day: November 7, 2017

Deadlines:

  • Voter Registration: October 17, 2017

  • Vote by Mail Application (via mail): October 31, 2017

  • Vote by Mail Application (in person - for early voting): November 6, 2017 in your county clerk office (check with office for hours).

A major difference in this year's state governor election is the fact that the candidates' statements are NOT printed on sample ballots mailed out to registered voters. You can see these statements in our voter binder at the library, or via the link below.
