This guide will help you find access to remote and virtual library services and resources

Request Scans of Library Materials

Scanning services are available only to RVCC students, faculty, and staff. 

While the physical library is closed, Library staff will fulfill requests for scans of chapters or sections of reserve textbooks and reference books, as well as print magazines and newspapers. We cannot scan an entire book or magazine. You must request the specific section, chapter, or pages needed. Scan requests must be limited to a reasonable amount (maximum of two chapters at a time for textbooks). 

The scan service is not meant to be a replacement for purchasing your textbook. Please only use this service as necessary. 

If the item you need is a circulating book, use the Books & Media Search to place a hold for check out and we will arrange contactless pickup for you.
