For your group project, you will search for two peer-reviewed, empirical research papers published in psychology journals that are related to your topic. For the purposes of this project, an empirical research paper is when the authors performed their own study in which they gained knowledge through direct observation or experience--this means that a scholarly article in which the authors review past studies would not count.
You will use the articles you find as inspiration for your own study that you are designing.
It is strongly recommended that you use the following resources to prepare you for this process. To move from page to page in this research guide, use the Next and Previous buttons at the bottom of the page.
Please watch these short videos and read through the linked content; each resource covers a different aspect of the skills and techniques you will need. They begin on the next page.
