Introduction to Library Services
RVOneSearch allows you to search all of the library's resources in one shot. Find books, ebooks, films, magazines and newspapers, and scholarly journal articles all in one place. Results will come from the library's catalog and databases.
The Catalog is used to search for the various materials the Library owns and/or has access to including: Books, Periodicals, E-Books, DVDs, Audiobooks, Class Materials and Maps.
While conducting research, you may come across entries that only have the citation for an article, not the full article. The Periodical Locator is a cross reference tool which tells you if the Library has access to the Full-Text and if so, which database you should use.
The Research Guides provide you with a starting point for your Research Paper. The Research Guides list specific books, databases, Library of Congress Subject Headings, and Online Resources to help you get started on your research assignment.
The Library's Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service allows you to request books and articles available at other libraries across the country. Requests can be filled out and submitted using the ILL Online Forms.
