Boolean Searches: NOT
The connector NOT tells your search to exclude specific keywords from your results. To exclude information about Freshmen from your search, you would search:
Most searches connect your keywords using AND by default. To try other Boolean searches, look for an Advanced Search option.
Advanced search interfaces usually have multiple boxes to enter search terms in. Often, you will see a drop down box that allows you to select AND, OR or NOT to connect your keywords.
